Fourth Battle of the Corporate Bands set for Friday, March 14
Fleishman-Hillard’s own Pro Bono & the Non‑Billables will duke it out with Enterprise Rent‑A-Car’s E-Rockers in the Fourth Battle of the Corporate Bands for Our Little Haven on Friday, March 14.
The show will kick off the St. Patrick’s Day weekend at the Schlafly Tap Room, 2100 Locust St., with music from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are a minimum donation of $5, with all proceeds benefiting Our Little Haven.
This is the fourth year the Pro Bonos and E-Rockers have clashed for Our Little Haven (www.ourlittlehaven.org), a residential care facility for children and babies who have been abused, neglected or affected by drugs. The three past battles have raised nearly $6,500 for the charity, and last year’s show paid for a trip to Six Flags for all the OLH kids.
In all, the Pro Bonos have helped to raise more than $12,000 for charities ranging from the United Way to Challenger Baseball to a coming-home party for a military unit returning from Iraq. They’ve been on a five-month hiatus following last September’s United Way show at Off Broadway.
