Changing the Focus..

I originally started this blog as an experiment.  I wanted to learn more about blogging and see if a recruiting blog could be a successful recruiting tool.  This blog has definitely been very useful in helping me to find and recruit qualified candidates.  It has been so useful that my company actually created its very own recruiting blog, Stand Out; I’m the second one down in the “Meet the Bloggers” section. 

Since FH now has a blog dedicated to recruiting, I’ve decided to change the focus of this blog a little bit.  I’m definitely still going to talk about recruiting, sourcing, and interviewing, but I think I want it to be a little more informal.  I’m going to avoid putting in boring job descriptions –yawn!- and I think I’ll focus more on things that I like to talk about – personal and professional.  Above all, it’s still a PR recruiting blog, but it’s also my personal blog so I’m going to include more of my own flair and jazz things up a bit.
